enough is enough

since when did it become ok for people to take guns to school to shoot people just because they were mad? when did it become ok to shoot people at all? it seems like every other article i read in the paper these days is detailing how someone was angry about something and therefore thought that gave them the right and full permission to go to a school and start shooting. where are people learning this behavior? and what can we as a society do to stop it? because too many innocent people are being hurt and killed and there has to be some reason this is happening.

happy half birthday to me

yep, it's my half birthday, the last half birthday of my 20's. no wonder i'm feeling a little weird today.

in the next week or so i'll be posting some more things about my alaska trip (although it seems like a distant memory at this point) and also - what everyone has been waiting for - posts from my peru trip! they'll all be back dated anywhere from mid march through april, and i'll let you know when i actually do post them. so you don't waste your time looking at my blog for no reason.

i'm in oregon and today for the first time in a long time, it's not raining. i probably just jinxed it. :)
